Past week was like a mini-rollercoaster ride. Small bumps and humps until weekend.

Japan BT will push through, much to my dismay.

Got my official company id at last. As expected, bad picture. Wonder if it's a sign I wouldn't last long in the company.

First time to talk to a Japanese contact on the phone. It was a really cool experience. I was so nervous though. He has an accent but not difficult to comprehend. I asked him what reports he's pulling from our system and he replied something that sounded like "test roll." The second time I still couldn't get it so I just wrote down "test roll" in my notebook. When I asked Carole (my teammate), she was sure there was no report that sounded like that.
Hope I didn't annoy him too much. I kept repeating and clarifying stuff that we've discussed.

Flipped out last friday. I was just going to consult something with my manager but he said "Pag-usapan nalang natin mamaya with Tina (let's talk about it later with Tina - my teammate)" I didn't know that was tantamount to an official meeting!
He asked me to print out something and when I handed it to him, he went "Have you gone through this?" I thought he was meaning if i have read it. So I responded "yes" in a non-chalant/i'm so in control tone. It was a little later that I found out he meant "has the team discussed this?" hello????!!! Of course not! That thing just came in this morning! Jesus, that got me so panick-sticken!
Come lunchtime, I had to get out of the office - quick! Went to starbucks and drank Mocha Frappe - after finally quitting 4months ago! Called up Leah and Jen but they weren't answering their phones. When my head finally cleared up - of foggy images of my dead body in the middle of Buendia - I got the courage to head back the office and face the monster. Meeting went better than expected. But I still couldn't get over the terror. My God, what happened to my visions of a simple job. Definitely a simple job does not involve anxiety and panick attacks.

Unang baso ko. Glass courtesy of Merge. Chevy stood guard. I was so nervous I had to visit the ladies room. Already have visions of the waitress running after us and asking us to open our bags. Don't know if I'm proud or ashamed. I feel nothing about it.

Too much happened in a week. But they were just that. Things that happened during the week.
